We stayed at Juan’s place for three weeks and really enjoyed our stay, apartment is well organised and has everything one needs , especially if you prefer cooking at home like we do…supermarket is 2 minutes walk. We would definitely stay again if back in San Jose.

Bel appartement situé dans un lotissement privé. Ce lotissement est composé d'une succession de petits bâtiments d'un étage, entouré de grandes cours arborées. Juste derrière le lotissement, les propriétaires de chiens peuvent faire leur première balade du matin dans un grand parc d'eucalyptus. L'avantage du lotissement privé et du parc d'eucalyptus est bien sûr d'offrir du calme. L'appartement est bien équipé. Il est situé à 10 minutes à pied du port et de la plage. Juan José est très sympathique. Il nous a régulièrement demandé si tout allait bien. Il est réactif et répond immédiatement à nos questions. Bref, un séjour de deux mois (en hiver) qui nous laisse un excellent souvenir.

The only negative really is we were cold. Advertised as with heating, which it has via the air con. We had that on but it was still cold. Maybe another space heater, or take your own. It was the middle of winter when we stayed. I'm sure it would be beautifully cool in the warm and hot season. Very easy to walk to everything, little shop round the corner. Nice neighbours, nice town. We had to park our camper out on the road as we couldn't access the complex but had no problem with this. Keep in mind for the less able bodied there are about 10 steps up to the front door. Everything works as it should and the host answers any questions fast and is very helpful. Thanks.
