This is the biggest beach in San José with its 850m long and averages 42m large. Next to it there are some other smaller but even more enchanting beaches: El Solarete, La Cruz and La Calilla.
In San José’s beach you will find clean sand, crystal clear and shallow waters. In proximity of the local harbour it offers great services and entertainments for kids as well as for adults. From this spot of the Natural Park you will be able to enjoy every day breathtaking sunsets.
In this beach you will have all the comforts to spend a very nice time. It provides easy access for people with reduced mobility, toilets, outdoor showers, bars and restaurants, lifeguard, football fields. There also are bike, kayak, and paddle surf rentals.
In San José there are many great restaurants, fast food and bars nearby the main beach where they serve any kind of meal. Most of them specialize, of course, in seafood since many of them are fishermen themselves. The specialties are in fact fresh seafood cooked in different ways and paella, the real star of the whole area, made with seafood only or mixed with meat and vegetables.
